I decided to do my nails again! I will link the colors I used since I don't know the exact names of some of my polishes! I will also do another updated post of my new nail color this is a bit of a late post. I don't think yellow was quite my color for my hands lol but the new polish is the one I used on my toes and pics will be uploaded later today! The yellow was from my sun candy collection from Revlon and the gold polka dots are in "Bold Gold" by Maybelline! Links are of course under each pic.

This polish is nice, but sometimes it's a but streaky when used on a while nail. You need to roll the polish in between your hands for quite a while in order to mix everything well. It's perfect for dotting though because it doesn't become darker in one area then another if you use the dotting tool correctly.

This polish goes on quite well. It dries fast as well! Took about 15 minutes to dry completely with the glitter on. I loved it on my feet I'm just not a big fan of it on my hands. It's just too much for me!

Naked Nails

Yesterday I went to my little cousin's birthday party and I wanted to let my nails breathe a bit in between my manis therefore I took my polish off, I was somewhat worried about my nails breaking, but I didn't want to put more top coat on since I was wanting them to be able to breathe. I used my hand butter. It kept my nails from breaking the whole time. I didn't need to worry about them at all the whole time and trust me it was a long party. I just applied it when my hands or nails felt dry. My after party nail pictures are at the end of this post. There is also another product that I use that helps my nails and hair grow and also helps me feel more alert and energized. It's called MSM I will make a post soon about it. If you are interested in more info about it or any of my other products don't be shy to comment or email me personally.

Cutex Advanced Revival nail polish remover is the nail polish remover I use. First off, I try to avoid using pure acetone. I used to only use it and I thought it was great because I could get rid of polish fast. I only use acetone if I have some stubborn glitter polish. Otherwise, I use regular polish remover. But back to the product. It smells almost like a sweet lime. I love it because it doesn't smell like normal polish removers. I'm somewhat used to the smell of the regular polish remover, but since I started using this I don't really care for the smell of the other. Another great thing about this polish is it actually gets rid of polish fast and it doesn't leave your nails dry. This remover also has 3 different type's of oils: Perilla seed oil, Flaxseed Oil, and Apricot kernel oil.

My Nail Plans:
I plan on making my nail's completely square as if they are not real lol. I used to wear acrylic nails a lot in junior high and high school. I find it more satisfying to have my own nails being square. but once they are all square I will let them grow out even longer than they are. MSM is also helping with my nail growth I have been taking it regularly for about 2 months now and it keeps my nails growing. I am constantly filing them down and having to reshape them about every 2 days. It has also helped with my hair growth, my hair is almost the same length as it was about a year ago.

Moisturize!

Of course keeping your nails moisturized is super important!  I apply cremes or lotions 3 times a day at least. These are just some of the products I use. I use more that will eventually be posted here but I'm really looking for a better cuticle cream or cuticle oil at the moment. So that's on hold for now! Yes, this is the same mani I posted the other day I just removed the pearls and rhinestones. I figured it looked alright either way so I just removed the gems buffed out the glue and added a topcoat again.

These are the 2 products I use regularly:

Skin So Soft Soft & Sensual Replenishing Hand Creme from Avon I use throughout the day it is very light feeling and it even contains argan oil so it really helps if you just need a quick and light feeling moisturizer throughout the day. I'm in need of some more actually. I'm just about out! It smells great as well.

I apply Absinthe Purifying Hand Butter from The Body Shop to my nails just as it is pictured below. Once I go over every single nail I apply it to my hands. I so this routine every morning and night. When I come to a nail with gems or some 3D nail art I just use a toothbrush to clean out the hand butter or whatever product I'm using that is getting stuck in the gems.

And in the end my nails still come out looking great! It basically rejuvenates your mani or pedi and gives it a shine as well. Moisturizing helps make your mani last longer. The reason I mainly apply the Absinthe hand butter at night and in the morning is because it is a bit heavy feeling. Personally I don't care for heavy feeling products but it really helps my nails and by the time I'm done getting ready in the morning it has already absorbed and at night I obviously don't need to worry about the feeling because I'm already headed to bed! I have been using these products for about a year now and they do wonders for me!
